 November is National Diabetes Month, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes prevention, detection, and management. The month highlights the high prevalence of diabetes in the United States, with an estimated 38.4 million people living with the condition and 97.6 million with prediabetes, and emphasizes taking action to manage or prevent it. Activities during this month include advocating for research and supporting those affected by the disease.
